1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to KeduTrust websites, authenticated web/PWA experiences and connected product features operated by Villahandle Global Ventures Limited. A bank, payment processor, biller, identity provider, merchant, logistics provider or other third party used for a particular service may also provide its own privacy notice.
2. Information we may collect
Account and identity information
Name, email, phone where provided, profile details, verification status, identity/account-verification information and records needed to establish or protect an account.
Financial and transaction information
Wallet/account identifiers, balances needed to display and authorize services, transaction references, payment instructions, beneficiaries, provider references, fees, currency, reconciliation information and product ledgers.
Bills and utility verification
For airtime, data and bill services we may process phone numbers, meter/account/customer identifiers, provider-returned customer names, service addresses and package information where needed to validate and complete a purchase.
Commerce information
Kedu Shopping, Kedu Business and SafePay can involve products, orders, merchant records, delivery state, QR/delivery confirmation records, disputes, refunds and settlement records.
3. Goals, family and savings-product information
KeduTarget, KeduNest, KeduVault, KeduBoost and related products can process goal names, target amounts, savings activity, contribution history, notes and product-specific settings. Information is used according to the feature the customer chose and the records needed to operate it safely.
4. KeduLegacy and estate information
KeduLegacy can contain especially sensitive planning information, including intended beneficiaries, relationships, executor and adviser contacts, asset pointers, estimated values, masked references, will-document status/reference information, private planning drafts, legacy messages and estate-administration events.
The Claim Centre can also collect claimant identity/contact details, relationship or legal role, deceased-person details supplied by the claimant, death information, document references and supporting explanations.
5. Public contribution links
Some KeduTarget and KeduNest features can allow a person to contribute without opening a KeduTrust account. The contribution page may collect the contributor's name, email, optional phone, amount and note, together with provider-payment references necessary to verify and reconcile the contribution.
For KeduTarget, the target owner may receive contributor details supplied for that contribution, including name, email and optional phone, and may export contributor records for their own target record-keeping. Public pages should expose only the limited goal information required for the contribution experience and should not reveal the owner's private wallet credentials or security secrets.
6. Device, PWA and security information
We may process browser/device characteristics, session information, login events, trusted-device information, IP-related security signals, local preferences and security logs. Cookies, session storage or local storage may support authentication, PWA behavior, accessibility preferences, trusted-device functionality and fraud prevention.
7. How we use information
- Provide and maintain KeduTrust products requested by the user.
- Authenticate users and apply transaction/security controls.
- Process, verify and reconcile payments and provider results.
- Validate utility/customer details before eligible bill payments.
- Operate protected Shopping, delivery, dispute and settlement workflows.
- Maintain contributor, family, goal and legacy records.
- Review estate claims and prevent account enumeration or fraudulent death claims.
- Send security, transaction, product or estate-administration notices where enabled.
- Prevent fraud, abuse and duplicate processing, resolve disputes and maintain audit evidence.
- Meet applicable contractual, legal, regulatory and record-keeping requirements.
A browser success screen alone should not determine the final financial state. KeduTrust relies on authoritative server-side records and, where applicable, verified provider results.
9. Security
KeduTrust uses layered controls appropriate to each feature, including authentication, email verification, Transaction PIN controls, trusted-device measures, authorization gates, CSRF protection, server-side transaction validation, idempotency, audit events and administrative access controls.
10. Retention and financial history
Records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain transaction and security history, reconcile payments, administer claims, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Some financial, audit, estate-claim or dispute records cannot be deleted immediately simply because an account is closed.
11. International processing
Some payment, infrastructure, communication or other service providers may process information in more than one country. Where international processing applies, KeduTrust seeks to limit use to the service purpose and apply appropriate contractual, technical or operational safeguards where required.
12. Your choices and requests
You may update available profile and product information through KeduTrust, change certain preferences, or contact Support about access, correction, account closure and other privacy requests. A request may be limited where retention is required for transaction integrity, fraud prevention, disputes, estate claims, security or applicable law.
13. Children and minors
The main KeduTrust financial account is intended for users who meet the applicable eligibility rules. KeduNest or KeduLegacy may contain information about children or minor beneficiaries supplied by an eligible adult for family/estate purposes. Such information should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the chosen feature.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as KeduTrust products, providers or privacy practices evolve. The effective date identifies the current public version.
